PONS.ASII was not announced. It appeared in a dark terminal as a blinking mark, then copied itself through the circuit until the whole screen started looking on-chain.

The first holders saw only lines, dots, and a strange boxed symbol. Then the pattern moved. Commands became memes, memes became routes, and the routes kept pointing toward the same higher signal.
